2012: I sat at my desk, a candle flickering beside me. My headphones blasted No Doubt down my eardrums, but no amount of ambient lighting or music helped with my writing ability. I was stuck in a rut and had no idea how to get out of it.
2015-2016: I wrote, edited, formatted, and marketed my first book in 12 months. While working full-time and buying my first house.
Ever since, I’ve helped writers to work out what holds them back in their writing lives. Sometimes it’s a simple fix, other times…not so much. But they’ve all found my advice helpful and insightful.
It started when I wrote and published Productivity for Writers: How to write more, defeat your inner critic, and make the most of every minute.
Since then, I’ve taught writers all over the world about productivity, and how they can find time to write no matter what’s going on in their lives.
